The Learn-To-Skate Program (LTS)

The Learn-To-Skate (tm) (LTS) program is Skateline's progressive instruction program developed over a decade of inline instruction. It consists of:
InlineFunStart™ or IFS:
1-hour introduction for total beginners
6 Levels of progressive skills:
4 x 1 hour lessons in each Level
Skater must pass an evaluation before progressing to the next level.*
*Evaluation is no longer required from 2009 Dec 1

Levels 1 and 2 equip total beginners with solid skating foundations. Levels 3 through 6 will train skaters to become intermediate and advanced skaters. The program is based on the Inline Certification Program (ICP), which a global standard for the training of skating instructors. All lessons are taught by ICP certified instructors.
A skater can track his/her own progress with the LTS booklet, a personal record-book of skating skills. The booklet is complimentary to skaters learning to skate in the Skate As You Like™ plan, or sold at $5 to skaters taking lessons with coupons.
